SENIOR MANAGING EDITOR (Full-time)
Located in: Beijing
Date valid from 11/1/2004 to 1/1/2005.
   Responsibility
   Launching and managing a monthly B2B magazine. Experience required in managing a professional magazine in China in all areas of work, including but not limited to editorial, writing, design, printing, advertising, circulation, customer service and sales and marketing and. Experience with China's auto industry a plus.
   Qualification
   Strong capabilities in working under pressure, meeting deadlines and taking up challenges. Responsible, dedicated and career oriented, with proven leadership quality, team work spirit and publishing experience. High-level of bilingual (Chinese/English) and computer proficiency. Journalism degree or background to be given high priority for consideration.
   Compensation
   Successful candidate will be well compensated commensurate with experience and achievement, including the possibility of a partnership.
STAFF EDITOR/ANALYST (Full-time)
Located in: Beijing
Date valid from 1/1/2005 to 5/5/2005.
   Responsibility
   Entry or mid-level editor with or without experience in newsletter or magazine writing and editing. Responsible to cover China's auto market information and analysis and write news reports, feature stories and analysis for a leading trade publication. Data entry and database building, international conference coordination, customer service, sales and marketing. Knowledge of China's auto industry a plus.
   Qualification
   Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English. Ability to write and edit news reports and analysis in English. Knowledge of photography and the use of digital camera. Willingness to work under pressure and in flexible hours in order to meet deadlines. Responsible, dedicated and career oriented, with team work spirit. Computer proficiency (MS Office, PageMaker, Photoshop). Aggressiveness in independently tackling job-related problems and challenges a plus. Journalism degree or background to be given high priority for consideration.
   Compensation

CORRESPONDENTS (Part-time)
Located in: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Changchun

Responsible to cover the regional auto market information and analysis and write news reports, feature stories and analysis for a leading trade publication. Knowledge of China's auto industry a plus.

   Compensation
   Successful candidate will be compensated on a part-time basis commensurate with experience. Full-time position may be possible based on work assignment and on-the-job performance.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER/DESK-TOP PUBLISHING PROFESSIONAL (Full-time)
Located in: Beijing
Date valid from 3/2/2004 to 12/12/2006.
   Responsibility
   One or two staff graphic designers with experience in magazine design and desk-top publishing. Responsible for in-house graphic design for a trade magazine plus other desk-top publishing designs. Knowledge of or experience with publishing on China's auto industry a plus.
   Qualification
   Experience in graphic design and desk-top publishing a must. English Level IV certificate required and Level VI preferred. Experience with both Mac and PC desk-top publishing software a must, including, but not limited to Pagemaker, Photoshop, Illustrator. Proven record in design and publishing. Willingness to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines. Responsible, dedicated and career oriented. Aggressiveness in independently tackling job-related problems and challenges a plus. The right candidate will be considered for an entry-level position.
   Compensation

AUTOMOTIVE ADVERTISEMENT SALES MANAGER (Full-time)
Located in: Beijing
Date valid from 5/23/2005 to 6/23/2005.
   Responsibility
   1. Advertisement sales for English weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and annually publications on China’s automobile market distributed worldwide. 2. The right candidate with leadership capability or experience is considered to manage a small team of advertisement sales. 3. Key person to coordinate the launch of a monthly print magazine (in English) on China’s automobile market.
   Qualification
   1. Experienced sales and marketing person in advertisements for magazines/newspapers/ Internet with track record. 2. Professional experience in automotive advertisement sales a plus. 3. Bi-lingual (Chinese and English) capability is required. The right candidate should be able to handle bi-lingual communications (written and oral). 4. Professional experience in dealing with advertisement sales representatives (national or international) a plus. 5. Knowledge of China's auto industry and a plus. 6. Inter-personal skill a must and the candidate should be self-motivated. 7. Teamwork spirit and willingness to work under pressure and deadlines.
